We are not an OCT ourselves, but a directory of OCTs and OCLs that will hopefully make it easier for you to find the group that's right for you! Please look through our upcoming OCTs and OCLs if you're looking for something to join. If you'd like to know more about who we are, an About Us page is coming soon.

Can I help this group in any way?
We are not currently recruiting staff from the public. You can, however, let us know if you spot any errors or out-of-date information! We will make an announcement when there are more opportunities to pitch in.

I have a question about a specific group OR I'm not sure if my character/story is acceptable OR are there any OCTs based on [blank]?
We are not directly involved in the groups on our list. Often, different groups have entirely different rules, and you should direct all questions you have towards the group you're interested in. What one group might reject might be perfectly acceptable in another. In the same vein, we do not have our listings memorized, so it's often faster to just scroll through them yourself then to ask us what's available in a certain genre or fandom. [[As this group is brand new there's a good chance we DO have our listing memorized at the moment, but it's still faster if you look yourself.]]




How do I add a group to this list?
To add your group, all you need to do is submit the required information in a note to us. Please be aware that we may miss groups submitted in comments.

FOR A NEW OCT, you should include the following information in your note:

• The group account name: This is the name as it it appears in the group url (ie, the-oct-list)
• The tournament name: This is what you are actually calling the OCT, on the format you'd like it displayed (ie, The OCT List)
• The username(s) of the admin: Who is in charge of this OCT
• The current status (ie, Under Construction, Accepting Auditions, etc) and any current deadlines
• Based on: Required if your group focuses on characters and or settings from something that already exists.
• Media accepted: What form this OCT will accept entries in (ie, comics, animation, writing, etc)
• Genre: OPTIONAL. If your OCT falls under a certain genre (ie fantasy, sci-fi, horror, etc)
• Parameters: OPTIONAL. If your OCT has certain important restrictions (ie, anthro characters only, no killing allowed, etc). Please keep these short and simple, save most of your rules for the your own page.
• Description: This is the actual ad that tells people what your OCT is about. The premise, setting, etc.

FOR AN OCL, you should include the above in your note, as well as:

• Event types: What kinds of events does your League hold (tournaments, one-on-ones, etc)

FOR A CURRENT OCT, as in, an OCT past the audition stage and not accepting new members:

• The group account name: This is the name as it it appears in the group url (ie, the-oct-list)
• The tournament name: This is what you are actually calling the OCT, on the format you'd like it displayed (ie, The OCT List)
• The username(s) of the admin: Who is in charge of this OCT
• Genre: OPTIONAL. If your OCT falls under a certain genre (ie fantasy, sci-fi, horror, etc)
• Description: This is the actual ad that tells people what your OCT is about. The premise, setting, etc.

FOR A COMPLETED OCT, as in, an OCT that has finished all rounds and chosen a winner:

• The group account name: This is the name as it it appears in the group url (ie, the-oct-list)
• The tournament name: This is what you are actually calling the OCT, on the format you'd like it displayed (ie, The OCT List)
• The username(s) of the admin: Who is in charge of this OCT
• Genre: OPTIONAL. If your OCT falls under a certain genre (ie fantasy, sci-fi, horror, etc)
• Description: This is the actual ad that tells people what your OCT is about. The premise, setting, etc
• Winner: The username of the winner and the character(s) they won with

FOR AN EYE-GRAB, as in, a video or image intended to draw an audience:

• The group account name: This is the name as it appears in the group url (ie, the-oct-list)
• The username(s) of the admin: Who is in charge of this OCT
• The image or video url

How do I update/edit/remove my OCT listing if there's been a change?

If you're a competitor looking for a partner or helper who can write/draw/animate/voice act/etc, or a OCT owner looking for staff/prizes/etc, submit a classified ad! To post an ad listing, all you need to do is submit the required information in a note to us. Please be aware that we may miss ads submitted in comments.

If you're group admin looking for help, please submit the following information:

• Username:
• Group: The OCT/L that needs help
• Seeking: What it is your group needs
• Notes: Optional, any other info you feel applicants need to know about the group or what you need

If you're looking for an OCT partner please submit the following information:

• Username:
• Event: The OCT or other event you require a partner for
• My Skills: Skills you have to offer
• Looking For: Skills you're looking for in your partner
• Notes: Optional, any other info you feel applicants need to know about what you need

If you're offering a skill or service (IE, voice acting, judging, prize donations, etc) but are not looking to be anyone's OCT partner, please submit the following information:

• Username:
• Service: What you're offering
• Qualifications and Experience: Why you'd be good at what you're offering, how much experience you have doing it, and/or a link to a sample
• Notes: Optional, any other info you feel you need to share about what you're offering
